Your membership and support helps us to:

• Organize volunteers in the classroom.

• Parent Teacher Conference Dinners.

• School Service Projects: Ribbon week, Hope squad, and the Multi cultural night.

• Reflections.

• Teacher Grants: member teachers are eligible to apply for our classroom funding pool.

Our PTA has set aside $2000, for teacher use in classrooms. These funds can be used for buying extra classroom supplies, teaching aids, books, and more.

To be elegable for PTA teacher grants teachers must:

• Currently be a member of the Westmore Elementary PTA.

• Items included in the grant must be for the benift of all students in the classroom.

• Teachers must submit an application with a PO request or estimate of cost.

Grants to be considered in the fall, applications need to be turned in by October 1, 2026.
Grants to be considered in the spring, applications need to be turned in by February 1, 2027. 

All grant applications will be reviewed by a committee of PTA members or the Executive board, once funds are distributed and items bought, receipts will need to be turned in to the PTA treasurer within 30 days, or turned into the PTA box.
